IRPS Member doing a activity to cleaning and to observe the condition of Bonbon after being abandoned for the several years. This action is to initiate of the preservation activity of WH202 Electric Locomotive as known as Bonbon.

Locomotive depot crew at Poncol, Semarang (Central Java), finishing their activity of restoring once of BB200 series locomotive into original beige-green color scheme.

IRPS and PT.Kereta Api (persero) has an opportunity from the Government of DKI Jakarta to perform a hearing with Chief of Cultural and Museum Agency, Mrs. Aurora Tambunan.
Lola (Aurora’s nick name) is very interesting with the program from IRPS and PT.Kereta Api(persero) for preserving the only one electric locomotive called Bonbon. Then ask for the chance for combining the preservation of Bonbon to Jakarta Old Town Program as a once of DKI Jakarta’s major program.
She look for Bonbon to become once of an icon for revitalization program of Jakarta Old Town.
Akhmad Sujadi as represting PT.Kereta Api (persero) is very welcome with the idea and ask for real support from the goverment to establishing the Monument of Bonbon and also revitalization of Jakarta Kota Railway Station.

During the hearing session, Lola telling the story about her fathers when still active as a Station Master at Garut, Jawa Barat. For now the Garut Station is no longger in service.
