In order to heighten positive images and love of rail transport in Indonesia, Director of Personnel and General Division of PT Kereta Api (Indonesian State Railway Company) had developed ideas of Indonesia rail transport roadshows. The roadshows would also promote trains love campaign, education on history and development of Indonesia rail transport, and the railway company’s products and services. The director also asked IRPS’ support and assistance in the roadshows.

This event was proposed by Totok Purwanto, a member of Bandung branch of IRPS who was on duty in Cirebon, and held in Cirebon locomotive Depot on March 22, 2009. Cirebon was located 185 kilometers north-east of Bandung, West Java.

Lutfi Tjahjadi of East Java branch of IRPS was assigned to accompany staff of PT kereta Api (KA) in delivering CC200 08 and CC201 25 from Cirebon locomotive depot in West Java to Yogyakarta Workshop Pengok in Yogyakarta on August 22, 2007.

In August 25, 2003, a number of IRPS members (Amang Suramang, Bagus Widyanto, Budi B. Sofyan, Risman Hudiyanto and Widoyoko) and Antono Purnomo from Readers’ Digest magazine, Indonesia Edition, visited Cirebon and participated in CC20015’s last regular runs. The locomotive remains in use for non-revenue official uses in Cirebon Operational Region (Daop 3), between Cirebon and Tanjungrasa. Amang Suramang made a documentary movie of the event, titled Swan Song of the Mascot, which will publicly premiere on September 2003, 28. CC200 15 has been refurbished to near-original condition. Even the instrument panels have been repaired, and the cabins were repainted. It only lacks the etched-glass locomotive number on its sides.
The locomotive has been tested on a slow train from Cirebon to Jatibarang, and is scheduled to make another road test this month. It also needs a repair on its Westinghouse train braking system (the locomotive brake is already okay).

Hery Nugroho (railfan) and Budi B. Sofyan (members of IRPS), have visited Cirebon in October 4, 2002. They found that CC200 15 have been repainted into the as-built beige and green scheme.
