The event was held on 18th October 2009 in which PT Kereta Api, IRPS, Kompak, GM-MarKA, and KRL-Mania participated. Acting as a coordinator was Slamet Haryadi of Jakarta branch of IRPS. First the team assembled a motorised draisine to carry railway company’s grass cutting tools. Then the draisine moved eastward from Cibinong Station to Nambo Station. At the location, a part of the team started to cut tall grass growing wild along the rail line, meanwhile the draisine returned to Cibinong to pick up waiting railfans.

A team of Identification Mission on the Revitalisation of Indonesia’s Railway Stations, consisted of Homme Heringa of Bureau Spoorbouwmeester and Ben de Vries of Netherlands Cultural Heritage Agency, was invited by PT Kereta Api’s Center for Historical Asset Preservation. The mission aims at defining Indonesian-Dutch cooperation in conserving and revitalising historical railway stations in Indonesia in their urban setting and social development. At the end of the visit, the team would recommend the possibility of Indonesian and Dutch cooperation in conserving and revitalising the stations.

After the railway roadshow in Yogyakarta Station, on August 8 committee of Young Bikers Heritage Trail met Leo Krisanto of IRPS. They asked IRPS to become an information source for the participants of Young Bikers Heritage Trail on the following day.

IRPS were asked by Directorate General of Rail Transportation of Transportation Department and PT Kereta Api (Indonesian state-owned railway company) to prepare a mini public showing about history of Tanjung Priuk Station and history, restoration and future plan of ESS 3201 in Tanjung Priuk Station.

A discussion titled “Jejak Sejarah Stasiun Kereta Api di Indonesia (History Trace of Indonesian Railway Station)” was held in Soegijapranata Catholic University, Semarang, Central Java, on March 22, 2009. IRPS was represented by Karyadi Baskoro. The speaker was A Kriswandhono, and architect-archeologist who was also the Second Head of HAPBI (Indonesia Building Maintenance Experts Grup). Acting as the moderator was Tubagus P Svarajati, the owner of Yaitu House of Art.

On February 21, 2009, a group of 30 people gathered at Jakarta Kota Station. They were two reporters of Merdeka daily, two members of Sahabat Museum community and IRPS members. They were about to retrace the Jakarta Kota-Tanjung Priuk line. According to Riawan Widarsono, coordinator representative of Jakarta branch of IRPS, the purpose of the event was to recollect data about historical assets along the line. All data and documents gathered should be submitted to PT Kereta Api Daerah Operasi (Operation Region) I and Director General of Indonesian Railway.

Every year Semarang Tawang Station was flooded by rising tide of sea water. Therefore, PT Kereta Api Daerah Operasi 4 Semarang (Indonesian State Railway 4th Operational Area-Semarang) held a thematic discussion on conservation of the station from effects of flood caused by rising tide of sea water.

in welcoming the IRPS birthday to 6th, IRPS Semarang tried to carry out celebration as well as the staffs and the official of Indonesian State Railway (PT KA) 4th Operational Area-Semarang. It was provided a basis for by thinking that IRPS could be more known not only in the big station, but relative stations smaller, only was not known by the official’s rank of Indonesian State Railway but also the other staffs.

The peak of the IRPS birthday agenda was in Yogyakarta held on the Saturday, on 28 June 2008 took place in the Maguwo station. This agenda was attended by 14 members of IRPS Yogyakarta: Bagas and his wife, Fajar, Habibie, Agung, Yoga, Sero, Rendy, Bima, Anton, Ner, Andhika, Ersta and Gema.

finally the agenda ride Diesel Multiple Unit cars (KRD) together that was thought of by the Community Bandung Trails (heritage Tours and Events) co-operated with IRPS Bandung went successfully and fluently. In this agenda of the numbering participants approximately 150 people who consisted of the Community Bandung Trails 130 people, IRPS 12 people (Asep S, Pura K, Aryo W, Tantra M, Krisnaharel BS, Bagus W, Tommy, M.Rizky, Vian Magetan, N.Krisanto, Sampurno and Andrianus Ramon with his partner) and from Indonesian State Railway (PT KA) and press.

The next IRPS programme after visiting Tasikmadu Sugar Mill was a joyride onboard a feeder train which served the Solo-Wonogiri branch line. It was held on May 25, 2008 and coordinated by the Yogyakarta branch of IRPS. The feeder train consisted of BB300 29 and an economic-class passenger car (K3-66519). The ticket cost Rp 2000 per trip.

On 2 March 2008, a team of 11 people, i.e. Asep, Nurcahyo, Intrias, Pura, Krisnaharel and wife, Bagus, Hendra, Tantra, Aryo and Sampurno, tracked down the inactive Cikajang-Garut-Cibatu railway line. There were several former stations and a shelter on the line, i.e Cikajang, Cisurupan, Bayongbong, Cioyod, Kamojang, Cireungit, Pamoyanan (shelter), Garut, Wanaraja, Pasirjengkol and Cibatu. Of the stations, the former Wanaraja had become a nest for swallows and most of its platforms had transformed into paddy fields.

On February 8, 2008, a team consisted of eleven people (i.e. Aditya DL, Fajar A, Ersta, Ito, Zudi, Yuda, Aryo, Kris, Bagas and Dita, and Anton) gathered at Jombor bus station in Yogyakarta. They were about to participate in a tour which tracked down the inactive Yogyakarta-Parakan line. The tour was arranged by IRPS Yogyakarta.

On February 8, 2008, a team consisted of 10 people (Aditya DL, Kris, Fajar, Bagas, Bowo, Hanafi, Komang, Yuda, Zudi and Ito Nugroho) gathered at Mulia Kencana Hotel on Pasar Kembang Street. They were about to track down the inactive railway line between Yogyakarta and Palbapang.
