Cuci Lokomotif BB200

Kembali Indonesian Railway Preservation Society (IRPS) Wilayah Semarang mengadakan cuci lok BB200. Acara yang diadakan pada hari Minggu, 14 Maret 2010 diikuti oleh anggota IRPS Semarang, Jakarta, Yogyakarta dan Bandung serta Railfan baik dari Semarang ataupun luar Semarang. Jumlah pesertanya tahun ini jauh lebih banyak dari tahun sebelumnya, semua berkat informasi melalui milis dan jejaring sosial seperti facebook.

Kendati Beda Komunitas, usia, maupun agama, dalam kegiatan ini semua bersatu padu bahu-membahu mencuci lok BB20021 dan BB20029 yang usianya hampir 53 tahun itu menjadi kinclong kembali. Dalam waktu 2 jam seluruh pekerjaan mencuci lok rampung. Setelah selesai dicuci, lok BB20021 langsung keluar dipo dan berangkat ke Stasiun Semarang Tawang untuk langsiran, sementara lok BB20029 yang dicuci pertama kali malah stabling Dipo Semarang Poncol.

Acara cuci bareng lok BB200 kali ini sempat diliput oleh 2 media elektronik yaitu dari TPI dan Cakra Semarang TV (tv lokal Semarang). Setelah acara selesai, rombongan dari Jakarta, Semarang dan Bandung pamit ke Stasiun Semarang Poncol karena akan naik KRDI Banyubiru (Joglosemar) menuju Yogyakarta.

Cleaning Up BB200 29 locomotive

For the second time, Semarang branch of IRPS cleaned up a BB200 class locomotive. This event was held in Semarang Poncol Locomotive Depot on March 26, 2009.

The participants were Nugroho Wahyu Utomo, Tjahjono Rahardjo, Herman Dirgantara, Budi Tuntang, Dedi Kurniawan, Bambang Sumantri, Wahid N, Deni, Abid, Dr Djalidin, Wisnu, Mega and Yos. Several reporters from TVKU, TV Borobudur, Sindo, Antara, Suara Merdeka and Radar Semarang also covered the event.

The team started cleaning BB200 29 at 11:00 AM. Juremi (a member of crew of the locomotive depot) and Darmadi (Chief of Semarang poncol Depot) also gave their hands. An hour later the team finished cleaning up the locomotive. Darmadi thanked the team for their help in maintaining the locomotive.

After making a transformation to the original beige and green uniform of BB200, IRPS and PT.Kereta Api (persero) celebrating a 50th years of serving of BB200.
Railfans together with railway company washing both of restored BB20021 and BB20029.

Titled 50th years celebration of BB200, PT.Kereta Api (Persero), Dirjen Kereta Api (Director General of Railway, Transportation Department) and IRPS was made a supporting event, such as Photograph Exhibition, Drawing Competition and Coloring Competition for Children.

BB200 29 Preservation discussion

IRPS visiting Semarang Poncol Locomotive Depot to discussing the continuing BB200 Preservation Program and delivery of BB200 29 photograph in large size. The restored BB200 will take action on 50th years life time achievement of BB200 series.

Delivery of BB20029 locomotive photograph to Suyatno (Chief of Semarang Poncol locomotive depot, PT Kereta Api) done by Edja consorted by Wahyuaji, Helmi Baswedan and Nugroho WU. After receiving BB20029 photograph, Suyatno tells thank to IRPS which has given contribution to Indonesian railway.

Meeting for 50th anniversary of BB200 locomotive

in April 17, 2007, IRPS attended a meeting with Chief of 4rd Operational Area, Rono Radipto and his staff in the meeting room at Indonesian Railway State office, Semarang.
IRPS team which attend are: Deddy Herlambang, Ratri, Tjahjono Raharjo, Agam, Martinus Setiabudi, dr Rosik, Aditya Dwi Laksana and Nugroho Wahyu Utomo.

Rono Radipto greeted the existence of IRPS. From a hobby as a railfans then motivated to preserve Indonesian railway historical assets.
This meeting is discussing of celebrating 50th anniversary of BB200 locomotive and 140th anniversary of first Indonesian Railroad, Semarang-Tanggung.
Deddy Herlambang also propose the preservation of Indonesian Railway asset in 4rd Operational Area such as: CR car near the Semarang Poncol warehouse, NR wooden car, old crane at Semarang Poncol Depot and wooden car at Cepu. Aditya Dwi Laksana explain about the IRPS activity is not only the preservation program, thera are another activity such as railfanning, education and exploration.

Rono Radipto also appreciate IRPS proposal to combine the events with a promotion of Ambarawa Railway Museum and Ambarawa – Tuntang touring, to gain more public awareness. This proposal was submited to Governor of Central Java and have good attention from the governor it self.

Additional activity of 50th anniversary of BB200 locomotive

For supporting the celebration of 50th anniversary of BB200 locomotive, RPS propose the activity such as Photo exebition at Semarang Tawang, Discussion about future of Indonesian railway and Train joy ride from Semarang to Tanggung.
Rono Radipto propose the additional activity such as railway children coloring and drawing competition, photo competition and propose the General Motor factory to supporting the event. Rono Radipto is also ask to make train joy ride to Kedungjati station.
