IRPS were asked by Directorate General of Rail Transportation of Transportation Department and PT Kereta Api (Indonesian state-owned railway company) to prepare a mini public showing about history of Tanjung Priuk Station and history, restoration and future plan of ESS 3201 in Tanjung Priuk Station.

On February 21, 2009, a group of 30 people gathered at Jakarta Kota Station. They were two reporters of Merdeka daily, two members of Sahabat Museum community and IRPS members. They were about to retrace the Jakarta Kota-Tanjung Priuk line. According to Riawan Widarsono, coordinator representative of Jakarta branch of IRPS, the purpose of the event was to recollect data about historical assets along the line. All data and documents gathered should be submitted to PT Kereta Api Daerah Operasi (Operation Region) I and Director General of Indonesian Railway.

On Saturday, December 13, IRPS members—i.e Widarsono (and hies son), Nurrahman, Gepi Zuni, Krisanto, Asep Suherman and Ario Wibisono—aided by staff of Balai Yasa (Workshop) Manggarai cleaned up ESS 3201 locomotive. Rika, Logistic Chief of Manggarai Workshop, was also present on this occasion.

On July 13, 2008, in cooperation with IRPS, Sahabat Museum (BatMus) community held Plesiran Tempo Dulu (PTD): Spoorwegstations Op Batavia. Its participants were 120 people. Sampurno, Risman Hudiyanto, Leo Krisanto, Aditya Dwi Laksana (IRPS Chairman) and Artanto Rizky Cahyono (IRPS Jakarta Secretary) represented IRPS. Mr Ahmad Sujadi (Chief of Public Relations of Operation Region I) represented Indonesian State Railway (PT Kereta Api).

Manggarai Train Workshop finally finishing the BonBon restoration program. This is the first phase of over-all BonBon Preservation Program.
The next program is to develop pedestal for BonBon Monument at Jakarta Old Town area near by Jakarta Kota Railway Station.

Lifting the body of WH202 electric locomotive to separating from its bogey. Body restoration will starting pararelly on bogey restoration.

Restoration process of WH202 electric locomotive have been started by team from Manggarai Train Workshop, Jakarta.
Intial process is cuting and welding rusty locomotive wall then after that repainting the locomotive back to the original color.

Novembers 20, 2006 – As the following progress of Sahabat Bonbon, IRPS presenting the design of Statue of Bonbon to Chief of Jakarta Operational Region, PT.Kereta Api (Persero), Mr. Judarso.
The statue design made by IRPS member, David Sagita. Is representing the dynamic of ancient electric locomotive. The others option is creating multimedia room inside of Bonbon to show to the audience how it works.

IRPS and PT.Kereta Api (persero) has an opportunity from the Government of DKI Jakarta to perform a hearing with Chief of Cultural and Museum Agency, Mrs. Aurora Tambunan.
Lola (Aurora’s nick name) is very interesting with the program from IRPS and PT.Kereta Api(persero) for preserving the only one electric locomotive called Bonbon. Then ask for the chance for combining the preservation of Bonbon to Jakarta Old Town Program as a once of DKI Jakarta’s major program.
She look for Bonbon to become once of an icon for revitalization program of Jakarta Old Town.
Akhmad Sujadi as represting PT.Kereta Api (persero) is very welcome with the idea and ask for real support from the goverment to establishing the Monument of Bonbon and also revitalization of Jakarta Kota Railway Station.

During the hearing session, Lola telling the story about her fathers when still active as a Station Master at Garut, Jawa Barat. For now the Garut Station is no longger in service.
